Paulina del Paso is a visual artist who navigates between the narrative and the experimental, the documentary, video, installation and photography. She has participated in several national and international exhibitions among which stand out her first individual show "Whish I were here", London 2008, and the group shows: "Betrayal" (Traición) London and Mexico 2007, "Instant Urbanism" (Citámbulos) Basel, Switzerland, "In the Air: Projections of Mexico" Guggenheim New York, 2005, "Esto es Tech-Mex", Mexican Cultural Centre in Paris 2004, "Caida Libre" (Free Fall) Dolores Olmedo Museum in Mexico 2001, "Sticky Fingers" Para-Site Gallery in Hong Kong 2001.
She has also shown her work in several festivals in Germany, Brazil, Canada, France, England, Italy and Poland, among others. She has received 2 Grants of Young Creators, one from the Fomento a proyectos from FONCA, the RE-New Media Grant (Formerly known as the Rockefeller Scholarship) and recently the Itinerant Gucci Grant. Currently she lives and works in Mexico City.
