Movil Remix

Based on Roberto Turnbull's work

The video “Movil remix” takes as a starting point in Roberto Turnbull’s large painting “Móvil Tzompantli”. The biomorphic elements cut out from the painting, really become mobile in a short playful animation. Alexander Calder goes to Chicén Itzá seeking a Mayan modernism. Len Lye visits Tenochtitlan’s Templo Mayor and puts the skulls in motion.
